Accompanying the spread is a small editorial, detailing her transition from teenage mom to entrepreneur. In particular, Wright spoke at length about her luxury bonnet line, Before Bed Headz, which she reveals was inspired by “wanting women to feel beautiful when they go to bed.”

So many men complain about women wearing bonnets to bed and not looking sexy and I wanted to make something blinged out, that looks good. Plus, a black woman’s hair is extremely fragile and requires a little more love. Pillowcases tend to suck all of the good moisture out of our hair leaving it dry and brittle, while satin bonnets like Before Bed Headz leaves in the moisture we need.
