With the change of seasons, our skin can suddenly transform from super oily to super dry or just doing it's own thing that you can't really decipher. So, just know you're not alone.
As many of us use Google to find out how to deal with certain skin issues that may arise or, online specialty skincare boutique Skinfo recently released a study showing the top skin searches in each state (proving that we’re not alone in our skin-based queries). And the results are quite intriguing.
Like we expected, the study confirms numerous environment-based patterns. For example, the study showed that Rosacea was the top search in states ranging from New England to Montana, and Oregon. There's also a large Celtic and Scandinavian population, in which Rosacea is prevalent.

Additionally, states like California, Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia were focused on oily skin or enlarged pores for their searches, which doesn't come as a surprise with their commonly hot and humid climate.
Another interesting tidbit of information gathered from the study found that those states known for gambling had search trends that weren't consistent with the state’s environment: “Active indoor lifestyles may be the source of skin problems in Nevada and New Jersey. These two states, home to gambling hot spots Las Vegas and Atlantic City, see a large number of Google searches for dark circles under the eyes, which can be caused by a lack of sleep."
So, if there's anything positive to take away from this ladies, it's certainly that you're not alone in the quest for perfect skin. See which condition is the most searched in your state above.
